Animal Kingdom

Wednesday we woke up early, not that Steve and I have a say in the matter, had breakfast at our hotel and headed off to Animal Kingdom for a couple safaris, lunch with Mickey and crew, a Lion King show, a Nemo show, dinosaur rides and another 'fart ride'.  That evening, we went back to the hotel early.

Up early, still dark and the girls loved the lit up fountain in front of our hotel.

We were the 1st ones at the Triceratop Spin and rode it 3 times without having to get off...girls were in heaven!   Steve took them around for the 4th time and treated the girls to a game of whack a mole while I rode Primeval Whirl.

Seeing Bugs Life--not a family favorite..another 'fart on' movie..

waiting for our 1st Safari ride

Making some music in Africa before some exploring through the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.
Lunch at Tusker House

Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Lilly was so impressed with Pocahontas.  Amelia asked who her friends were and she said all of the animals were her friends.  Spot on, Pocahontas, Spot on!

Another safari!

This time the giraffe was right on our path causing us to run late to the Festival of the Lion King..

The giraffe timed it 'perfectly', running late with our fast pass gave us front row seats to Festival of the Lion King.  Amelia loved the jumping monkeys, who tapped our heads as they ran by and Lilly loved the singing.
The girls, due to our impeccable timing, were asked to be part of the show!

Amelia loved Lion King
Break time=dancing in Africa and enjoying some Dole Whip, yum!
On our way through Asia, we got in on some dancing.

Finding Nemo-The Musical was awesome, although Amelia was sad that Nemo got caught in the net.

We headed back to our resort for dinner at Boatwrights for some Cajun.

Make your own sundaes!
