Nutcracker

Both of the girls were in ballet from September-December.  At the end, they were both in the Nutcracker.  It was a ton of work for the girls--in addition to the class time, there were 4 2-hr rehearsals and 2 1.5hr performances!  But, it was great seeing them on stage.  Lilly loved that I let her wear makeup and that she could see all the big girls in their tutus...she was great and made sure to do what the teacher asked of them.  Amelia, on the other hand, was more of an 'individual'.  She sported the pout the 1st time on stage, second time was making a funny face and the last time she had to be taken off the stage by the other girls...took her awhile to warm up to the stage, I guess.  Thanks, Traci, for taking such great pictures.
