Happy Valentines Day

We were all spoiled on Valentines Day. Steve brought the girls balloons, cupcakes and stuffies that they were surprised with when they came downstairs. We enjoyed heart shaped pancakes and dippy eggs with their new stuffies.

Then, we set up the formal dining room for dinner and put out the china (I skipped the stemware and opted for the rocks glasses instead). The girls got ready in their princess dresses, that were worn all day and, went grocery shopping for dinner. I told Lilly about the special meal we were making dad (lobster, halibut, pilaf an spinach) And she thought we should make something special for her too (homemade mac and cheese and chicken nuggets).

Next, we went to the girls' parties at school were they indulged in the 1st cupcake of the day an exchanged Valentine with the kids at school. The girls had a huge sugar crash, giving me some quiet time to cook. That night we had dinner in the dining room, with china and the girls were great! We are planning in doing that more often!

You girls are very lucky to have such a thoughtful dad/husband!

What a great idea to take out the china and make Valentines Day so special!
